On September 13, 2012, we went to flew from DC to Beijing. Finally, the trip we'd all been waiting for. Why did we take such a long journey?
To visit the Summer Palace?
To take part in a tea tasting ceremony?
To visit Tiananmen Square?
To hike the Great Wall of China?
To wait on a red couch in anticipation?
No. You guessed it! To meet my BROTHER!!!
I loved my brother from the moment I saw him.
We love to play together (sometimes we even play nicely)
and take baths together
and pose for photos
and go to the zoo (we saw real pandas close up in the Guangzhou Zoo!)
and meet friends like Braden, Paige, Faith!
We got to see our friends Yu and Ricky at the Hong Kong airport on our way home!
It was a long, long way home...
but we made it and here we are with our new family! I love you, Andy.
