Happy Birthday, Ruby!

Friday was Ruby's birthday, so she had a big party. I thought her crown was really cool!

The kids even had our own table with 7 high-chairs!

Someone took hidden camera footage of Nicholas stealing my food. I was wondering where all my zucchini went!

Some new old friends!

On Saturday we went to Little Sisters of the Poor in DC to spend time with some really nice folks. Here's me with one of the many friends I made.

Fuzzy Wuzzy!

It's awfully humid down here in Virginia! Makes for some pretty bad hair days, but I don't mind!

Happy Birthday, Ben!

Ben turned one last Saturday, so of course we went over to his new house to party!
I loved playing with Ben and Faith the dog. Apparently Mommy was busy stuffing her face!
Paper makes great noises. I can't wait until my birthday!

Hugs for Daddy and...

kisses for Mommy!

P.S. My "kisses" often leave bite-marks.

Seven Moms and Seven Babies!

Last Friday we had a brunch with our Mothering Matters group. Here's me having a tea party with Celeste and Madison!

With 7 babies on a couch, you're bound to have some issues. This time Philip and Evan appeared to be having a small disagreement.

We were all much happier with our moms holding us. Plus they sang a fabulous rendition of "If you're happy and you know it." We were listening so intently that you couldn't hear even a peep from any of us!

Here's a flashback from Christmas. I was pretty little, but my cheeks sure weren't!

Cruising & crawling

Mommy was trying to take a video of me cruising along the couch (I'm fast!) but I decided the camera was much more exciting!

Playing with Ruby

Today I went to Ruby's house (she's my very good friend) and we played with lots of her toys. She's really into her new duck and holds him by the neck wherever she goes!
"Oh my goodness, Ellie! You took my red car and my duck!" (Bear with us here. We're only 11 months old so it doesn't take much to excite us.)

Happy 4th of July!

Here's me with my friends Elyssa and Izzy at our 4th of July cookout at Mia's house (that's Paul & Cynthia's dog's name). We played inside since it was almost 100 degrees outside. After all that fun with friends and dogs, I slept through the fireworks!

On Saturday we went to my friend Iris' one-year birthday party and I got to play with her toys. Mommy is trying to teach me to share toys with the kids who actually own them in the first place. Isn't Iris pretty?

Lishuang's grandmother also blew some bubbles and I had fun trying to catch them!P.S. Thank you, Ava for letting me wear your 4th of July outfit!
