Cousins!

The reason Mommy and I went to Boston was to celebrate Cousin Maria's & Cousin Abby's baby. She or he (???) is due in November. Here's Ava helping Cousin Maria open her gifts.

Ava is a great cousin. She always plays with me and gives me hugs!

I played with my cousin Charlie ("Chah-lie"), too! Isn't he cute?

Cousin Jenn read me a story. I got a little distracted by the camera, plus there was someone under a blanket over there.

Mommy jumped in the leaves with my cousins Matthew & Ben while I slept in the van. But when I woke up we all had a great time playing blocks!

Boston!

On Tuesday Mommy and I spent the day in Boston. She always tells me I was born in Virginia, but I'm from Boston. I had so much fun with the ducks from Make Way for Ducklings!

This is the rock in the Public Gardens where Mommy and Daddy got engaged!

Mommy showed me the FOCUS room at Park Street Church where she used to teach English.

We had lunch at Faneuil Hall. The birds loved me since I'm a messy eater!

Apple picking!

On Sunday I went apple picking. This was my second time going there, but for the first time I could actually grab the apples! Next year I'm hoping to pick a few myself.

I kept trying to roll and bounce the apples because they looked a lot like tennis balls!

Our moms did the carrying for 9 months. It's about time the dads took over!

Auntie Christine bit into an apple for the first time!

We're really taking advantage of this great fall weather! Here are Mommy and I on our fun adventure to Krop's Crops in Great Falls!

Dentist!

Today I went to the dentist with Mommy and Dr. Garrett checked my teeth, too! She said my teeth are looking good (all 8 of them). I already have my next appointment scheduled for April. Too bad Mommy isn't as excited as I am!

Shenandoah Valley

On Sunday we took a day trip to the Shenandoah National Park for some hiking. We had some nice cool weather and thankfully all those clouds you see decided not to rain on us!

I fed Daddy lunch at the summit!


The mountains were a great place for me to work on my new climbing skills. Here's me doing some serious rock scrambling.

After all that rock climbing, I was so tired that I slept through the waterfall!

A Celebration for baby Sofia

On Saturday, Mommy and I went to Auntie Fabiana's baby shower. I liked the balloons the best!

I was mad here because Mommy wanted me to stop playing with the ballooon to take a picture!

I took a sneak peak at a few of the gifts. They were so 14 months ago, but I know Sofia will like them.


Auntie Felicia gave me a ride on her leg. She's really strong! I was grinning ear-to-ear, as you can see!

Visit with Beth

Mommy's college friend Beth came to visit and she let me play with her camera! We also went out for sushi and both of us were learning how to use chopsticks. Mommy didn't take a picture of that one because she was too busy cleaning up the gooey rice I got everywhere!
