Last week we took a family vacation. We left Tuesday afternoon and stopped in Philadelphia to see my cousin Risa. Did you notice she's wearing my old clothes?
Our final destination was my Uncle Louis' cabin in NH. It's right on the lake and as you can see, there's always a great view.
I'm very interested in the sun these days (I make sure I tell Mommy daily when I notice if the sun is coming up or going down) so Daddy took me down to the lake to see the sunset.
Non & KayKay came to spend a day and we roasted marshmallows!
I loved splashing in the lake! I think I like it even better than the pool!
I went swimming with my baby cousin Henry. I splashed him a lot, and I think he's already plotting how much he can splash me when he's a little bigger.
Non helped me ride my cousin Ava's old bike. Note: In New Hampshire, helmets are not required. If Mommy had packed me a helmet, though, I would have worn it.
KayKay painted my fingernails AND toenails! I was so excited and kept saying, "Pinky! Pinky!"
Daddy and I sneaking a few extra s'mores.
We went to a public beach across the lake so I could stand up in the water myself. I kept running in and out of the water to wash of my sandy hands.
We went to Alton Bay one afternoon to see the boats and eat some yummy New England ice cream. I told Mommy that I liked the boats with the covers "so I don't get wet."
I called these "bee-noculars" and used them every chance I got.
We walked over to the covered bridge like last year. I was pretty tired, but I still enjoyed seeing this neat bridge.
Most of the time I was in the cabin I was doing this princess puzzle Daddy got me.
These photos are out of order, but on the way up to NH we stopped in Newburyport, MA. Daddy carried me all around town like a sack of potatoes.
Here's Henry!
I loved seeing Uncle Adam & Auntie Beth, too. When I needed help with puzzles and things, I asked Uncle Adam and he always had a good solution.
Me and baby cousin Henry!
Back in Newburyport, we stayed at the Garrison Inn and had a very nice breakfast in comfy chairs.
We walked on the boardwalk with my cousins Matthew & Ben. As you can see, I love my cousins!
KayKay let me carry her umbrella. The storms didn't hit us, but Boston had to cut short their 4th of July celebration. I liked watching the Boston Pops in the hotel room, though! I love music and got to see all sorts of instruments.
Auntie Lis and I waved to the boats!
Here's our inn. We arrived to find that they'd given us a free upgrade! Score!
I love Auntie Lis & Uncle Doug!
The Garrison Inn had a great bed for me to jump (and jump and jump) on!
I stopped to smell almost all the flowers in Newburyport.
