Well, this year we caught the cherry blossoms on a cloudy, cool Sunday morning the day before they hit peak. At least we got to witness something very exciting about to happen, as this photo illustrates.

The new MLK memorial is so huge! Great big statue for a man who did great big things.
The announcment (if you've made it this far down the page) is that we're adopting a sister or brother for me from China! We're just waiting and hopefully will find out who he/she is within the next few months! When Mommy asks me where my brother is (it's probably going to be a boy), I say, "He's in China." I can't wait to go there to pick him up!
Aaaaaugh! Congratulations - can't wait for the new addition to your family! BTW I love the annual trip to DC that you guys take to see the cherry blossoms.
