The Lakehouse

We went on a long-weekend vacation to Uncle Louis' lakehouse in New Hampshire. This has been a hot cousins' meeting spot for about 25 years now. Watch out! The "baby cousins" are taking over!
This is Daddy and Mommy Kayaking. Non & Kay Kay took good care of me back on land.

I wanted to ride the kayak, too, but I'm too little for now.

Ava is a very fun cousin!

Charlie is the coolest fireman ever...

and he let me borrow his gear, too! I especially liked the boots, and was very sad when he took them home with him.

We did some bike riding

and sunset watching

and lots of marshmallow roasting! Here's me with Mommy's friend Tiffany who came to visit.

Daddy taught me how to say "fire" on the airplane (it's one of the pictures in those fun books they always keep in the seat-back pockets), so I was prepared.

We hiked to a covered bridge that Mommy used to go to with her cousins when she was little.

Fireman Charlie decided he needed to fight the fire! He took his job very seriously.

I think Daddy is dreaming of internet access.

We had a couple thunderstorms, so we stayed cozy indoors and did puzzles!
